You must have heard about the Annual Snow Festival of Sapporo, which is famous all across the world. Being the largest city on the Hokkaido island, February month usually draws the maximum number of tourists owing to the Snow Festival. But you can visit anytime to enjoy the myriad beauties of the place. Even availing of the two days’ Japan sapporo tours can be an exciting one. It is possible to cover the major sites in a day, but a couple of days will give you more time to explore the beautiful city.
Day 1
The places which should be there on your list for Day 1 are Odori Park, Sapporo TV Tower, Sapporo Clock Tower, Shinobi Koibito Park, Hokkaido Government Office, and Maruyama Park. The Odori Park is the hub of events all through the year. If you get clear weather, then you can even see the Mt. Okuyama Ski Jump Stadium as the park is dividing the city into two halves, and there is no tall building present in between. The Sapporo TV Tower is the ideal place to soak in the beauty of the entire city from the observatory deck. Don’t miss your entry to the Ishiya Chocolate Factory.
Day 2
The second day’s itinerary is simple. Starting from the Sapporo Station, continue with the Sapporo Factory, Sapporo Beer Museum, Ario Sapporo, Mt. Moiwa, and Susukino. Sapporo Station is a landmark, housing the typical JR trains, various departmental stores and other malls, and many delicious restaurants. Once a beer factory, the Sapporo Factory is now a shopping complex with several interconnected buildings. When at the Beer Museum, just walk around and try the Beer Sampler at 600 yen. You will get three glasses of the Black Label, Kaitakushi, and Classic Beer. A complimentary packet of nuts will make you further happy.
